My head bush.

My hair is growing unruly. Neither God nor Gatsby cannot save me from my hair malfunction, i need a hairstylist! I finally got my organiser, courtesy of my mother dearest. Looks like i can finally get to personalising it to my liking. and keep my life and time in check. please forgive this particular entry, its not particularly focused and i feel like rambling. just that been cooped up at home has made me try some really crazy stuff.

like for example, i was at Sentosa about a week back, and Jerry and Richie taught me how to do somersaults. i then realised that i could flip into the water rather comfortably. so much for thinking it was really impossible. so i was bored today. i did a flip in my room, but whilst doing it, i realised i didn't have any water to land in. so i fell. gotta learn the follow-through for it (i.e. landing on my feet.) but i think i pretty much can do it. the things i do to keep myself entertained amuse myself even.

i have things to settle before Sunday. better note it down.

the going ons and ons

i'm thankful for the term break, more breaks please!

been doing some catching up with various individuals and its all good. i'm also looking to a change in lifestyle as my daily reflections tell myself that i haven't been the best person that i could be. i mean, i'm still not attached! and that's a problem i keep reminding myself of. but it seems love is in the air for most. maybe i just let the hints zip by my head.

but enough about my inner-most thoughts. interesting but i'm guarded about them. the links are slowly, but surely growing. and i've been thinking of ways to make things interesting for everyone. i should be doing something like a monthly feature and interviews with my blogging friends. challenge myself to do some reporting and witty writing. i'm also planning to get myself a semi-professional camera to do a bit of camera studying. the sony cameras look good actually, i should hope to get one by month's end. and i promise there'll be a great influx of pictures once i do get my paws on this said photography equipment.

i've been staying at home, which is good. sentosa yesterday was good too. i still haven't received the photos and videos yet though. the anticipation is killing me. and more singing tomorrow! kbox is my sanctum. hurray for no sore throat. i'm going to fully enjoy this week before the school starts, before people start pissing me off again. but i sincerely hope they won't.

good night, don't sleep too much; It causes weight issues.

The 2-part entry (Part 2)

So we headed out for Seletar. Yes, the other side of the universe, located deep within the wilderness, flanked by sporadic landed properties. It really looked like the rural parts of Malaysia that i've seen when i went for a vacation. But enough about the place.

I wasn't too interactive on my journey to the country club. i had meant to leave on Tuesday night from camp, but as circumstances and destiny dictates, i only left on Wednesday morning. There goes my essential sleep-time. Upon boarding the bus, i promptly fell asleep, plugged into my mp3s on my PSP. The journey was about an hour, as i would like to believe, because i woke up with a backache.

So i entered a small LT with my fellow TRM compatriots to listen to an introduction to the game of golf. i was bored and sleepy, so i was dozing off. needless to say, i didn't know my eagles from my albatrosses when i left the theatre for a guided tour around the country club. personally i think Singapore is too small to entertain golf courses, we need more land! maybe we should explore the possibilities of subterranean and underwater housing. or some other random super-technology. okay i'm rambling again.

lunch at the country club was okay. chicken rice, but the rice was nicer than the chicken. so no seconds for me that time. the cordial was alright too, not too sweet/bland. and then finally, to the crux of the bloody workshop! the actually golfing!

we were kinda split up, so my side did the driving range and chipping. this is the fun part, focusing on not spraining my back and having a great time simultaneously. i didn't strain my back, and my wayward golf balls didn't strike any hapless strangers or animals (i hope.) i still maintain my stand that its a bloody expensive sport. i'll stick to my boardgames.

and then, it ended. we went back home. i fell asleep in my bed. bliss.

Happy Birthday Petrina! Getting drunk is bad, but getting high is ohh, sooo gooooooooooooooooooooood.

An interlude before the sequel.

I'm planning on making an organiser up till the end of this year! Give me good suggestions people! Things i'd need to include, or suggested materials to use!

I think i want to compartmentalise my life and my thoughts. I don't want to forget. It makes me messed up.

And yes, once again i've moved certain elements around, and i've also added an experimental page to the "Links" on the sidebar. Drop me a note if you want me to link your blog. I'll be playing around with the links page a bit so you might be surprised.

The 2-part entry (Part 1)

Well well well, i've finally recovered enough from my bA_Comm camp to post an update! First off, my papers are over! Cost Managerial Accounting (CMA) was a disaster. I think i'd get half a mark out of the last 16 mark part! and i didn't mug for Principals of Marketing (PMKT) so i'm pretty much banking on dumb luck and english prowess to get through. Though i predict that PMKT would turn out better than CMA. A numerical nightmare as i would put it. But let's put academic stumbling aside no?

Booked into Comm Camp 3 last Sunday and never looked back. It was tremendous fun and i knew that i wouldn't be enjoying it fully because of my golf appreciation workshop on Wednesday. That meant that i would book out on Tuesday after activities to head home to rest for golfing! What an unfortunate coincidence! And dear me, i think my good memory is failing! i had thought that Yani's party was on Saturday, but it turned out to be on Sunday! my hearing might be failing me as well, because i misheard Arthur telling me to book in at 10 p.m. instead of 8.30 a.m. My daily disillusions disturb my well-being.

And so i booked out halfway through day 0 to head down to the other side of the planet (aka Tampines) for Yani's birthday! Jolly fun and good food mostly. Though i'm not particularly attracted to television programmes, i guess its a good update to the going-ons on MTV. Not that i really need it, but hey, let's make the best of things. I then had a really long train journey back to Clementi. Thankfully i had Jolene and Cheryl for company.

I'm not going to bore you with camp details, although they're very interesting details! No i'm not contradicting myself. Its just that some things i'd like to keep in my head! But certain highlights!
  • Getting to meet and greet so many freshmen! I love strangers. (in a good way)
  • Being one of the game masters and being armed with a water gun = Spraying mayhem!
  • Getting to play Doom: The Boardgame! I taught 2 more people, and i had a 2 marine game! Tremendous fun, too bad i was kinda sleepy after the day's activities
  • "You should be dancing!" Retro fever, Nuff' said!
  • Shared some singing skills and experiences with the freshmen (pseudo-trainer! *grin*)
  • Had good water fun at WAR GAMES! water does bring people together!
  • The Queen's Ball was truly the ball yo!
  • Nostalgic flashback to Comm Camp 2 actually, but no tears.
And so i left for home at 6.30 a.m. Wednesday morning. I was way too tired and had to take a nap. Then i rushed to and fro and reached school at 8.25 a.m. just in time to catch the bus for golf appreciation! but that's another story for another time.

A few wishes for the final flourish to this entry!

Happy Belated Birthday Clement! Hope you get your girl, and don't be shy about it!

Happy Belated Birthday Yani and Zul! You know we love you! At least i know i do!

Post 89. Yes, an unimaginative title.

So i was just reading my archives for my blog. good stuff, because as it turns out, i've still retained my unique brand of humour.

My entries crack me up. purpose achieved! Anyway its about time i opened up "Minutes of Midnight" so i did. I'm only at the first track. An instrumental from what i hear. Okay i'm at the second track now. Catchy!

Nope, they haven't lost their flavour. Expletives and all. and yes, parking is a pain in the ass as usual. a full review out soon.
