95% there goes my AD!

i got one bloody question wrong for my Business Computing Applications (BCA) module. and there's so many projects to do.

  • Written Comm
relatively easy, surveys with maybe a couple of interviews. topic's on hairstyles. deadline's week 6. next week's week 5. gotta hurry hurry. harris/zhenhuang/sly
  • Tourism
no idea what's it about yet, but the deadline's pretty far away, after week 10 i heard. maybe week 14. tammi/dorothy/i'm-not-too-sure
  • ICA
topic's on homosexuality. i'm homo-phobic, but hey, i'm cool with it. research and surveys, and maybe interviews. deadline's after LMS, so we're slating it for later. vannn/zash/justin/fabian
  • LMS
team members are the same as above. both modules are IS modules, so they're kinda like half a proper module. this one is the most fun project. but not much done yet, gotta rush for meetings because we're all so lackadaisical. its also the only one with an individual project, a book review. deadline's close. shit.
  • BCA
computer project. on excel. should be relatively simple, seeing that its mostly computer-based. first proper group discussion this sunday. tammi/andrea/dorothy.

6 projects and we're almost into week 5. God help us all.

Mattflurry.

The past four days has been a hurricane of activities. I'm so weary my neck aches. Thursday i went clubbing, right after playing pool, after school. M.OS has increased their prices to 28 bucks, but i had my usual share of fun; I always make sure i've fun when i go clubbing.

Case in point, i finished my cider from last week's exploits before hitting the ministry. Rather good judgement if you asked me. You know the threshold when you're close to wasted, but you're really high? I was there. Right after, we went for supper, and caught Poseidon at Cine (4.10 a.m.) The show's okay, enough people died to keep me awake. Right after we headed for breakfast (Only Shawn and i really ate though) and headed home (with the blood brothers.)

Note that i haven't slept yet? Good. After i reached home, i changed and grabbed my laptop, then i headed back out to Bugis to do my school project. I was late by a good hour and a half. I wouldn't say it was the most productive meeting i've ever had. I was only fueled by acetate. Lunch was Burger King after we (Vannn and Fabian) did some walking-around at Junction 8. I cancelled my dinner date with Izzy, i hope she isn't too pissed.

I reached home and finally touched down in bed around 6. New record of staying awake: 36 hours. I promptly proceeded to nap for 17 hours.

The next time i woke it was Saturday. I kinda wondered where my Vesak went for a little while. I spent my afternoon at school doing homework, and reading newspapers. I like the Chicken Cutlet at Canteen One and Canteen Three. Anyway, i finished up my silly work in one go (One of the tasks go something like that "Save the worksheet", so what you do is you click the save button and you're done.) i headed home, then out again with my parents to fix their computer. new motherboard, that's all. I got new pants from OP! yay! Dinner was mediocre; its not the food nor the company, it was me. my unpredictable sleep cycle's making me edgy.

I kinda missed cycling club's orientation earlier in the day so i kinda made up for it by going for night cycling with Philip. i think i'll be stuck doing high-gear the next few months. its rather inefficient, but the workout's fantastic. i also summoned up enough courage to go down stairs riding the bike. much fun!

anyhow, i probably should stay home to finish up my work, i still have one overdue piece of shit for POA. out.

New record.

Thirty Six hours.

Thursday, May 11, 2006

5 hours.

That's all i'll let myself sleep tonight. Too much stuff left to do, i wanna enjoy my weekend. we're not headed for butter factory anymore, ah well.

someplace else, i hope i'm not the only guy. i wanna blog today but i'm not in the mood to. like how sometimes you're hungry but you don't wanna eat; I understand how that feels now.

Terrible Tueday

My day sucked. I'm in a bad mood. Jessica's getting vitamins from me tomorrow.

Mood trough i tell you. And the wait of eternity for me to access blogger didn't help either. i must detox the hate from my system. i should seriously sleep at least 8 hours every night, and keep myself hydrated.

good night.

A chapter closed.

I've just finished cycling with Philip, from 11 to 2. Intensive high-gear training, haven't done that before and it feels good; My nuts hurt really bad though.

I guess i've finally found my closure. time does do wonderful things. last night when i was thinking of my ex, i realised i've totally forgotten her mobile number, no matter how hard i tried to remember it.

Guess all that talking to people and sharing did help.

Onwards!

let my guard down.

i'm planning to live life to my fullest, work well, play hard. that's the way life should be. you know making friends come easily to me, but i always have my defenses up, full shields and armour. i know no man is an island but you never know who's the hidden Gorgon who's out to petrify and kill you.

But those are pretty rare as i've realised. time for people to see me for who i am... because who cares about fitting in, being yourself is sexy. that's what i've heard and experienced. and tomorrow i embark on my third week of academic pursuit.

oh i'm going to butter factory this Thursday, pretty much confirmed (meaning its in my little blue book). its a new place, finally i can finish up my cider in my fridge.

i'm happy today is actually Sunday.

When i woke up Saturday morning, i kept thinking it was Sunday already; Hence making me rather pissed. Turned out it was actually Saturday so i cheered up quite a bit.

I think good music and too much booze does that to you. I was at Tiesto's spin 2 weeks back at M.OS and just the previous Friday, i attended Paul Oakenfold's spin at Zouk. 30 bucks man, but it was worth it la. Before the party, there was 3 of us. Then it became, 7. Then 6, then 4. Then 6 again. Ended up with 2 people. Then myself. I got back at 5 in the morning.

Bryan, Ding and i hit up some Vodka Snapple (lemonade) mixed by Ding. Albeit untasty, but it does the job. Bryan brought his leftover J.D. whiskey. We finished all of it right before we hit the club. Bryan was wasted by 11 a.m., after smoking a cig. Vomit and drool spewing in the toilet. Hadda send him home with Jeremy the main man who drove to Zouk. We were back around midnight, missed midnight madness, damnit. Ding was pretty much gone for the rest of the night, i had to keep her from falling, and i had to apologise to so many people for her. Not too fun.

Paul Oakenfold's fantastic, especially "Sweet Dreams". I think i prefer familiarity. But it was fucking crowded. oh well, you give and take. i'll be posting pics up soon. when i figure flickr out...

Might be hitting The Butter Factory coming Thursday, seeing that Friday's Vesak.

A long update. Plus my daily mixup.

hey, its been a while has it not?

Okay, some logsheet entries, i have been punctual 1 day for the past 2 weeks of school. i'm hoping this turns for the better, although its just so damn hard to wake up on time. okay i realise i should not judge people and just report them as it is, so here goes.

Monday was good, being Labour Day and a non-school day. I played mahjong at Jessica's friend's place, who lives by herself. Her tiles are black and the 'hong zhong'(red dragon) isn't red. its actually more of a 'huang zhong'(yellow dragon.) Then we had dinner a bit at CCK, poor Jessica's sick.

My Introduction to Tourism and Resort Management (ITR) lecturer thought gastronomy meant star-gazing, and my Business Computing Applications (BCA) tutor gave us answers to a 'mock-exercise' before he gave us the question. Which incidentally, is something we have to hand in. Crikey!

I think i might be joining the Song Composing Club if it isn't too dreary, i've already made some really fun friends in there, though out of this bunch, some i already knew. well, inferring from what i heard from Jeremy, the NPSU isn't going to contact us till maybe next semester. And maybe Dancesports. i still do wanna join diving, or at least some water sport that isn't swimming.

Then yesterday i went to Zouk, haha. i think that deserves an entry by itself.
