  • unwrapped "Minutes to Midnight"

School work is fun... sometimes.

I've added yet another section into my ever-growing "right-side-bar" That's right, check out the posters. The first one is for my I&E project (i designed the poster!), and the second one is actually a plug for my friends. Theirs is happening this Friday and i'll be going!

I've finally gotten my Linkin' Park album "Minutes to Midnight" and i even got a band shirt to go with it too! and i've tested out my studio earphones, they sound excellent! I long to go shopping in JB, my wardrobe grows ancient by the day.

I've been blowing a lot of cash lately on stuff. I bought the Principles of Marketing (PMKT) text for forty over bucks on Tuesday! My wallet bleeds from the gaping hole. And no, i haven't bought my CMA text yet. i hope the money is well spent.

flickering lights and low-buzzing static irritates me. good night!

spam-me-not!

okay i missed the deadline for my IS correspondence submission.

OH WELL!

i'll just have to do it tomorrow. because i am not in the mood to do anything now other than read newspapers! ahh, the little pleasures of life.

To my dear Dagonet freshies who are here, and are totally clueless about the merchandise issue (i.e. bel {who i assume is belinda}) i would like to say... E-mail me! and read the entry on thedagonetway. instructions are all there! and yes, huixian does have my msn address.

now now, what else do i want to say. oh i'll really like to thank MELise (sic) for her compliments. but i can't figure out the voice command part you were talking about: "...it listens to my commands of on and off!! IMPRESSIVE..." i didn't know einstein was that smart. and of course, how i can i forget Joel? your recommendation will weigh heavy in my mind. trolls who invade my tagbox are very much loathed. must destroy them with sledgehammer.

and you've been here a long time haven't you Joel? "...
i've tested your lightbulb. It's good for 10,000 on-off cycles" i think i only turn him one and off a couple of times daily. he's going to last me a very long time! (or at least until i pick another inanimate object to be my pet)

and to wrap things up, thanks bel. einstein's the nicest.

however, bel=email me properly okay?

i love writing.

Things to rush, time to burn

i saw the swirling lights in my head, and it reminded me of disco in the 70's, but then again, that's just my imagination going back to the wacky past. i've assignmentdeadlinescoming! nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

and i know what this blog lacks! reader participation. and i'm half-contemplating on removing my tagbox seeing how i get strange advertisements for porn, medication, flowers, and other miscellaneous crap. recommendations for a tagbox-like thing that's more secure and reliable would be good.

so the weekends are finally here! not that i'm complaining about the weekdays, seeing how i had no school from Monday to Thursday! Why? well, its a strange combination of my tutors going for a study trip to Australia with the year 3s, a cancelled tutorial, e-learning, and a flexible ECE tutor. but enough about school, its not the most interesting thing around.

Movies i've caught over my "mini-holiday": (which actually also includes last Thursday and Friday)
  • 28 Weeks Later (thumbs up for gore, fright, and uneasiness)
  • Spiderman 3 (yes, a second time)
  • Next (this show is awesome, short 90+ minutes but comprehensive)
and there's so many more coming up! i'm looking forward to "Men in White" by our local director, Mr. Tong. but i wonder who else would indulge me. i won't be watching "Blades of Glory" because it looks too dumb!

oh and let's not forget Transformers! i'm already starting to look for sounds to use for my phone. haha, the sheer enthusiasm.

TRANSFORMERS
MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE/ROBOTS IN DISGUISE

okay. and so it ends.

Thanks for all the well-wishes.

I'm up and running again. Speaking of running, i need running shoes. Anyone wants to go shopping for them together? I'm thinking, Queensway.

So anyway, i've been in a shopping spirit lately, so i went down to Isetan's private member sale today. Total damage: approx. $150. (well, to be fair, not all was spent there. in the general town area)

So i won't bore you with details, but shopping makes me happy. Let's give a list of what i bought!
  • Belt (because my other one rusted to hell, metal and sea-water don't go well, do they?)
  • Lanyard (compulsive buy)
  • Earphones (my other one turned yellow, then grey, then it died. unfortunate really)
  • Book (finally spent my book prize money from last year, it has an intriguing title)
So anyway (i gotta stop using "so anyway" i'll think of something) i think i'm going to settle in and crack my book open. tomorrow i'll be buying another book. my text for Cost and Managerial Accounting! 7th edition no less. boring shit. and it costs more than my interesting book.

actually blogging makes my mind feel lighter, maybe i should blog more. relax myself. in any case, see you all around. I saw Chris Yap today, no change. he makes me think of Bryan whom i haven't contacted in months. maybe i'll call him tomorrow. ohhhhh, i just remembered. look to the right of the screen!

meet einstein. he's a light bulb.
